What days does FreshFold operate?

We run pickup and delivery Monday through Friday. Friday pickups get a special weekend turnaround — clean, folded laundry back on your doorstep Saturday morning.

Do I have to be home for pickup or delivery?

Nope. Just leave your bag on the porch. We grab it, wash and fold everything, and return it drawer-ready — no waiting around and no hand-off needed.

Will my clothes be washed with other people's laundry?

Never. Every order is washed and dried separately, so your items only ever touch your own laundry.

What is the standard turnaround time?

Standard turnaround is 24 hours. Morning pickups can upgrade to Same-Day Express to get everything back the same evening.

How much laundry can fit in each different bag size?

Small Bag (Up to 25lbs): Roughly 2-3 standard loads. Perfect for a single professional or a laundry catch-up after a few busy days.
Medium Bag (Up to 45lbs): Roughly 4-5 standard loads. The sweet spot for couples or small families weekly wash.
Large Bag (50lbs-70lbs): Roughly 7-9 standard loads. Handles the entire household’s laundry in one go.

What goes in my bags? What counts as standard clothing?

Think of it this way: If it’s an item you would normally wash or dry in your machines at home, it belongs in the bag! This includes:

Everyday Wear: T-shirts, polos, jeans, shorts, and casual button-downs.
Children & Kids Clothing: Onesies, play clothing, school uniforms, and pajamas. (We love helping busy parents clear the laundry mountain!)
Athletic Gear: Gym shorts, leggings, moisture-wicking tops, and yoga pants.
Undergarments: Socks, underwear, and delicate base layers.
Daily Basics: Hoodies, sweatshirts, cotton dresses, bath towels, and hand towels.
Washable Delicates: Machine-safe delicate garments, lacy undergarments, or premium athleisure.

How should I prepare my laundry for pickup?

Check Pockets: Please remove all items like pens, lip balm, coins, or receipts. While we do a quick external check for safety, we are not responsible for damage caused by items left in pockets.
Fasten Closures: Close all zippers, snaps, and buttons to prevent snagging or tangling during the wash cycle.
Check for Repairs: Look for loose buttons or small tears. If you notice any, please let us know so we can handle the garments with extra care.
Dry items only: Please do not include damp or wet items (like wet towels) in your bag, as this can lead to mildew and odors before we reach our facility.

How is price determined, and is there a minimum?

Pricing is based on bag size, not per-piece guessing — pick Small, Medium, or Large and you know your price up front. No hidden fees and no subscription required.

What kind of detergents do you use?

Premium detergents with a custom dry for each load. Have a preference or sensitivity? Let us know and we’ll match it — free & clear options included.

Can I skip a week, change my bag size, or cancel?

Absolutely. Subscriptions are flexible — pause, skip, resize, or cancel anytime. No contracts and no locked-in days

What if something is lost or damaged?

We treat your wardrobe with the utmost care and precision. For your peace of mind, our service is fully insured to cover your garments from the moment we pick them up, throughout the cleaning process, and until they are safely back at your door. In the rare case of a lost or damaged item, reach out and our team will make it right.
